An artist named Hope finds a letter from her late mother wishing for her to travel and see the world. After finding the address to a restaurant on the back of an old photograph, she decides to leave her life behind and travel to South Carolina to find direction after this heartbreaking loss. This original drama about love, hope, and light will take you on a journey toward self-discovery and realized dreams.
About the Screenwriter
Erica Pawluk graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in MedIa Arts in 2017. She was 14 ounces when she was born and has cerebral palsy. She originally wrote Dreams for a screenwriting class. She chose to extend the first 25-page draft into 65 pages of story.
This will be her first movie and she looks forward to seeing the characters and story come to life. The characters are close to her heart. Her wish for this film is that the audience is positively impacted by the powerful story of loss, hope, and love.
